As many of you know, my dear hubby, DH, loves photography and Yosemite NP offered multitudes of places to capture.

Bridal Veil Falls
DH will tell you that the timing wasn’t right to get good photos of Bridal Veil Falls. Maybe so, but I loved the falls anyway. We arrived around 7 a.m. in order to beat the crowds. The flat path was only 1/4-mile to the falls.

Large boulders strewn across the base offered places to sit and hear the falls. We had the place pretty much to ourselves except for a couple from nearby Merced. By the time we left, more people arrived.
Ansel Adams Photography Walk
I discovered that the Ansel Adams Gallery offers free photography walks on certain days of the week. DH and Thing 2 took the walking tour while I explored Yosemite Village and the two movies behind the visitor center.

The 90-minute walk departed the gallery at 9:00 am and was limited to 15 people.
